Androidify

If you are looking for a way to spruce up your website or identity, check out Androidify.


This site allows those 13 or older a way to create a personalized android avatar.  The site guides the user through a series of steps to add clothing, eyewear, accessories, and even fun movements!



The final step guides the user to save or share the final animated GIF.

Application for Teachers

Teachers could digitize the All About Me first day of school activity with an Androidify Yourself activity instead.

Team Shake

Available in the App Store | Available at Google Play Store

Team Shake can assist teachers with grouping students and also selecting individual students.  The $.99 app can be mastered in minutes.  The app opens with a default group.  To add students or members, tap the plus sign.



From the menu found in the lower, left corner, tap , then tap Save as New List or Rename List if working with a previously-saved list.


Tap the preferred amount of teams needed at the bottom of the screen.

Teams or groups can be made by shaking the device or tapping the Shake button.



To select a random player, tap the icon at the bottom of the screen.

Plickers

Plickers is a great way to gather information from students without each student needing to have a device.  The simple requirements are:
  • Only ONE device (can be a phone)
  • The plickers app (available for iOS or Android)
  • A set of Plickers cards (can be printed for FREE here or a laminated set can be purchased here)

 Download the app today and follow the instructions here to get started.
NOTE: If searching the App Store on an iPad, change the search settings to include iPhone Only apps to find Plickers:
